Broken Halo Management’s creative direction is inspired by the concept of “the boy with the broken halo,” a line made famous from the Black Key’s song “Sinister Kid.”  On the surface, the designs are bright, cheery and retro, but each element always has an undertone or a “broken halo,” so to speak.  The logo and imagery used throughout rely on the contrast of complex emotions: adorable guilt and cunning sweetness manifested in the doe-eyed dog, a character who tries to do right by their owner, but can’t seem to avoid making a total mess. Old school gifs reference cartoons like Road Runner & Wile e Coyote to capture brightness with an undertone.
